What do Green Spot Algea, Black Bead Algea, and a green bushy furry algea have in common? I can't seem to kill them and they all seem to be happening I'd also prefer not to keep dosing excel to try and kill it all.

How big is your tank? Maybe you need to get some algae eating fish/inverts?

What kind of lighting are you using and how many hours is it on everyday?

A finex LED light, it's on like 8 hours a day

I have two otos and a few Amanos but nothing. Maybe I should not feed flakes a few days.

I also have black beard, green spot and some fuzz and even some staghorn here and there. Its not much of any of them other then the green spot on my anubias but I think the first thing to ever try is stopping fertilizer if you're using it, or definitely cut back.

Try putting your lights back another hour. I also have not found excel to be much of a help. I kind of like the beard algae but could go without the rest!

This is an excellent article with pics and reasons why you get each of them. Maybe there is something in common?

If you're already at 8 hours. Do you use fertilizers? I have read thats the first thing you should try cutting back because its a sign you have more than needed.

I don't know that's tricky isn't it? Algea goes nuts if there's to much or to little
