These angels literally just turned 6 months old a few days ago. They were from my cousins first spawn. Just some commons ; nothing fancy. Was not expecting this so soon. Pretty happy to know their happy enough to spawn

I just saw some eggs on the glass yesterday from my Koi Angels. They were gone this morning. I just ordered a ceramic breeding cone from Amazon.

I’m new to Angels. Once new eggs are laid on the cone, do I need to do something to protect them?

I have 6 Angels in a 53 gallon tank with a few Bronze catfish and a few Albino BN plecos.

I suggest you start a thread of your own rather than using another person's thread. Otherwise it gets confusing for people. Just a friendly suggestion

Before making any suggestions on what you should do with the eggs, I would like to ask if you have a separate tank 30 gallons or larger to grow out the babies? If not, you should just let nature take its course because you can't grow them out in a community tank and you can't grow them out in a small 10-20 gallon.

Is the mated pair picking on the other angels at all? It can get dicey having multiple angels when a breeding pair is in the mix.

I know I need to remove the others but I don’t have another large tank available at present.

I haven’t posted enough yet to be able to iniate a new thread.

The Picking has just started.

Thanks for the information.

You only need a certain number of posts for the buy/sell/trade forum. You can start a thread anywhere else regardless how many posts you have.

If another tank is not available...I'd remove the eggs immediately after they are laid and dispose of them. This will help minimize the aggression a bit. And you don't have the means to raise babies anyway.
