Angels for 60g

Okay I am thinking about getting Angels, but there are so many out there that I have no idea which ones to get. I know there are many, so I am going to go through some and let me know if their is any others that would fit the standard(my tank). Okay, so platinum angel, black angel, blushing angel, veil angel, gold angel, striped angel, black striped angel, blushing blue angel, um idk what else lol. Pls let me know if their are any other Angels.
my tank is obviously a 60g, ammonia are 0ppm, nitrites are 0ppm, nitrates are 20ppm, pH is slightly acidic(6.2), light on for 12 hours, almost heavily planted(going to put driftwood in soon), 2 filters(sponge filter and can't remember the other filter name).

 

How about Koi angels my favorite? Do you plan to breed them, just keep a group a pair. Alison

Unfortunately even if you do that, it may be the koi angels choose the other kois and the blushing stick with the blushing. Angels choose their own mates. I would say you have a 50/50 chance of getting one of each to pair up if you get a few of each.

You mentioned the veil tail angels in your list....just so that you know, any angel species can have the veil tail feature. It is not it's own species. So you could have a veil tail Koi, or a veil tail blushing angel.

My favorite angel feature, which can also occur on all the different species, is the pearlscale trait. It makes their bodies look like tin foil.. I have a pearlscale platinum angel (one of my many angels) and I think he is the most stunning angel of all! I have a group of his babies right now....and I would love to see the pearlscale trait, but I think both parents have to have it, so since mom doesn't have it, I don't expect the babies to. They aren't even 2 weeks old yet so I won't know for a while. Also, Mom has the veil tail....but dad does not....so will the babies have veil tails?? We'll find out!!!

Angels are wonderful fish. With many many gorgeous species (as you know!!) some of them are rarer and harder to find though. Are you planning to order online? if not maybe start by finding out exactly what kinds of angels you have available around you before you decide which one you want? or do you already know what your options are?

 

Well I know Petco has some, but liveaquaria is where I am buying most of them
