Ok both of my angels eyes are starting to get white. They are old and tank details are in my website and no I don't have a tester kit YET so don't ask about that. They are almost 12 years old could this just mean they are getting old, they still are mating every week and laying eggs and my aunts angels which were from the same tank as I got mine and are the same age and everything went blind a while ago could this just mean mine are going blind?

I think there is a disease that makes fish's eyes cloudy, look into it a little more. I'm sure you don't need to hear this but please for the sake of your fish get a test kit ASAP.

yes I know but I don't have much money right now I just got my allowance and will have to collect for my paper route this weekend so I might get 15$ after I put some in for college and savings and a good test kit around me goes for 32$ so maybe in another month I will be able to

It could be a bacterial infection, or some fish just get cataracts. One of my jack dempseys went through this.

Sorry to hear about your angels. I really hope they get well. I don't think cloudy eyes would be a result of old age; it may be some infection/disease. You mentioned that they are turning white. Do you mean that with time they get paler? Or that they turned white quickly over a short period of time?

I posted a while ago about this. There is a cloudy eye bacteria disease, that seems to run it's course. My Cory Cat, who had it in one eye, is fine now.
