Angelfish Water Parameters?

HI Fishlore!
I plan on getting angelfish for my 37 gallon and I need to have a good idea of kh, gh, and ph levels for the water. It's still cycling without fish and my water seemed a little too low in ph, sitting at about 6.2 ppm, so I added some baking soda to raise it. I am also hoping that the kh will rise with the addition of baking soda, since it was at 0 ppm. My gh is sitting at about 150 ppm, and I need to figure out how I can cater to the angelfish's needs in terms of water quality. I would also like to put some Apistogramma or German Blue Rams in there with the angels and I'm wondering if they should have the same water parameters.
Thanks in advance for any help I get! (picture of the tank is included)

You pH is fine for Angels. Mine is 6.3 to 6.8 in my GBR/Angel tank. What's your planned stock? Would you like suggestions?

With a KH of zero, your pH would fluctuate a lot which is more dangerous than trying to aI'm for a specific pH since most fish can adapt to a wide range of values. I would start putting in some crushed coral in your filters to raise your KH and stabilize your pH long term.

Nice tank! Angels do well in most ph ranges as long as they are stable and they really thrive with big water changes. They especially love soft water.

I used baking soda. Does that do the same thing?

I was thinking I might add 2 angels, 3 German blue Rams (1 male/2 females), 2 apistogrammas, maybe 6 bigger bodied tetra, some yoyo loaches (for my unwanted snail population), and a snakeskin pleco. I might add something else if I can but I don't know yet. Suggestions would help too.

Three Rams isn't a good idea and you'll more than likely get a breeding pair from 4. I would just do 2, and be sure to add them last. They need a well established tank (at LEAST 3 months). I would recommend Lemon Tetras.

Baking soda will increase it but you'd need to add it a lot more frequently and test nearly daily. Coral or other buffers dissolve slowly and maintains the KH/pH longer.
