Okay so, I have 5 dime-sized angelfish in my 75 community tank. In quarantine right now I have a 5 1/2 inch long Striped Raphaels Catfish. Do you think it'd be safe for the babies or should I wait to get them bigger? The catfish has been in quarantine for 3 weeks

if the raphaels are well fed then i would not worry. maybe. my concern would be the cats snagging bite size fish in the night.

Ok thank you! I'm thinking of just keeping him in quarantine until then babies get a little bit bigger

yes at that size raphaels are dangerous. that can swallow from 25% to 33% of their body length if they wanted to. then they crush whatever they got on their big palate in their throat and rasp it.

Wow, I'm glad I quarantined him...
