Can anyone help me to determine is this is male or female??? Also how much bigger is he/she gonna get???? Thank you!!!
My guess, I'm no expert, is that it's a female. So long as it's in a decent sized tank, angelfish can get to be 4-6 inches long and more than ten inches tall depending on the fish. So quite big. How big is she now?
That's now just took that pic about the size of a quarter when I got her 2 months ago was about dime size just curious how much bigger
They're big fish. An adult will be about the same size as your palm, maybe even a bit bigger. They can easily chomp fish like guppies and neons to give you an idea.
Ok I have 2 molly fry in my tank they are about 2 months I see her chase them once in a while but she can't catch them she seems to be scared of the danios if they come close her stripes fade and she hides in the plants lol may have to rehome her I only have a 20 gal
Yeah. A single angelfish needs about a 29 gallon minimum. You might want to take her back if you can. Those fry are lucky. Mine tend to get munched by their own parents.
Here is the 2 fry I can't believe they made it either lol!!!
They're cute. By the looks of it your tank has quite a few hiding places which could explain it. Either that or your other fish can't be bothered chasing them...
