So I do know what a pearlscale is! I just couldn't see it in the pic! Stupid me!

Cool! That's a mouthful! What is a stripeless gene? Like a a gene that doesn't come from a silver or zebra? Sorry for so many questions.

One stripeless gene removes the stripes of a silver making them a ghost. Two stripeless genes and they become a blusher.

And you can have lots of types of blushers.

True koI are blushing gold marbles.
Blue blushers are paraibas
You can have dark blushers, silver blushers, gold blushers. There are seemingly endless phenotypes with angelfish.

What makes it a pearscale? I thought that I knew what a pearlscale was.

It's a scale mutation that causes wavy scales. The light refracts off the crinkles like a diamond.

This is a fish. I guess it is a plain fish but some expert will tell me it is a plain fish with these traits. Whatever it is i'm keeping it:
