55 Gallon Tank Angelfish not as Active.

Now I got this Angelfish purely for its looks unfortunately. And since then he just either chills at the bottom or top of the tank. He's not Active at all compared to the other Angel's. They are gluttons Was able to feed some bloodworms by putting some in front of his mouth. Other wise he doesn't go for food. It's a relatively new tank only a couple weeks old. Been thinking he'd die on me but it's been more than a week surprisingly. Other than this, his body looks fine nothing external that I've noticed.

Ammonia is 0, ph around the 7's,
but have been struggling with Nitrites. They've been pretty high. But I've been doing water changes at least 25%.
Any insight would be appreciated

 

How high is "pretty high"? Probably warrants doing water changes more in the 75%+ area. You're basically in a fish-in cycle currently and need to treat the tank as such. He doesn't appear to be in bad condition but probably doesn't feel so hot after being moved into an uncycled tank and exposed to high nitrites.

About .50ppm more or less. I've dosed with Prime to help lower it when it was too high. Also having some brown algae appear. Should I be worried that he's not interested in food like the others? Honestly surprised he's still going.

Prime does not lower ammonia or nitrites, only detoxifies to an extent. Only water changes will lower them.

What size tank and how many Angelfish? Can you post a picture showing the whole tank?

Yes, it is worrying that he's not eating, but I don't blame him for it because the water parameters could be responsible. If you get the tank cycled and water parameters sorted out and he doesn't start improving, that is when you should consider other sources of the issue. Large water changes are your best friend right now.

 

Ok. Will do. Also have this koi Angelfish that I noticed is a Male and has been bullying that one(he just takes it) and another all black one I have(they been aggressive when near each other). Noticed one morning the all black had quite a few Gray scars on his side. Should I remove that koi Angel? His aggressive is bothersome. Pretty sure that solid black one is a male too.

 

I'm not very familiar with angelfish aggression so hopefully someone who is can talk about that more.

Sorry for the late reply. Skipped over yours. It's a 55 Gal Currently has 4 Angel's a blue Acara with 4 nerite 5 blue 1 yellow mystery snails. Been thinking about removing some snails. Luckily nitrites have started going down a bit it seems.
