Angelfish laying on side at bottom of tank

Please help!! My angel fish, approx 1.5 yrs (been with me for a year) is lying on her side on the bottom of the tank. I say goodbye every morning 6am, nothing unusual. Came home at 5pm, and she had a few drops of poo on her, so she had been there for some time. 200L tank, been running for roughly a year and a half. 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, 0-5 Nitrate, ph 7.4-7.6 (this is typical).

She shares her tank with 3 other angelfish, 7 Corys, 1 Adult male Bristlenose, 1 7cm Bristlenose, 3 adult platies and ~5 3cm platies.

She is the largest angelfish by 1.5cm, and isn't ever bullied or hiding in the corner. Always the first to eat, and the biggest eater and if anything she is the bully. She and Halo just had some eggs. No one has been bothering them, so they haven't bothered anyone either. Halo was staying close to Uriel(sickie) (until food time).

Anyway, no obvious injuries(bit of fin nip, but it may be from lying on the floor). She has been acting normal until this, and everyone else is still fine.

I have moved her to a 60L tank with some baby platies. I don't think they're at risk of being eaten...........

The only other thing of note is that I was unwell, so it has been 3wks since a water change. Changed water yesterday. No abnormal tests in that time though.

HI all,

I know you're very busy, I'm just concerned at how quickly my angel went from happy swimmer to side sinker....

I don't want her to be dead when I wake up, so if there is anything anyone can suggest, I'm open to it. That or if anyone has the opinion this will pass, I'm open to that too! So long as it is honest.

I can't seem to find much online other than bad water, new fish/plant/disease and violence... Please, I am depending on your experience.

She got some really good advice from Tolak one of our resident angelfish experts on treatment .Please read that it has been running for the last few days. Keep us posted. Alison

HI Alison,

I was reading it last night. The two egg-parents hadn't been fighting. And only a few times did they chase off another angel.

I don't have chlorine and do use prime. I used API stress coat last night also. Also no one else is behaving oddly in any way. No gulping, no tension/fighting/hiding, no erratic swimming, and she wasn't fat/bloated- she had just laid eggs. She wasn't separated from the mum until after she started lying. And this happened in the 11 hrs I was at work, not over a long period of time. The only other thing was that she wasn't eating.... But it was too hard for her.

Anyway, to update you, it is much too late. She died shortly after my last post

If anyone has any ideas, including Tolak, it may help me to prevent another death...?

Sorry, just to clarify, when I said no chlorine, there is probably some but I use rain water, so it would be less than tap water.
