Angelfish ick?

I have a 65 gallon with quite an array of fish. But my concern right now is I've noticed white spots all over my main Angelfish. Is this ick? Also, I have 2 lyretails and 1 is all of a sudden chilling on the floor of the tank. All the other fish r swimming around just fine.
List of fish in tank;
2 big angels
2 small angels
2 blk mollies
2 golden lyretails
2 albino corys
2 red wag swordtails
5 tiger barbs
1 red fin shark

Welcome to FishLore! I'm sorry to say that it does indeed look like your fish are suffering an ich attack

Thanx! I'll be going to get something to treat them from my local fish shop.

So I got tetra lifeguard and have been treating the tank everyday for the last 3 days. Now everyday I wake up to a dead fish or 2. I have already lost 1 swordtail, 1 lyretail, 1 angel, and now apparently 3 tiger barbs. Is there something else I can do?

Kordon rid ick is what I see most commonly suggested against Ich. I personally do salt plus heat, so don't have experience using the meds. So sorry for your fish

Are the spots falling off?

I'm battling the same thing. I've lost almost all my Black Phantom and Serpae tetras. Oddly enough the White Skirt and Neon tetras are all okay so far.

I've turned my heat up to 87°, since I've been told the parasite can't reproduce if the temperature is 86° or higher. I tried treating with ParaGuard, but it didn't seem to help. I was told at Is this ick? - Freshwater Fish Disease 425610 that it isn't best for ick.

Would you mind elaborating on using salt?

(Also, I'm new here, so I have a question. Did I tag you correctly? I used the same method I use in another (non-fish) forum.)

I haven't noticed any spots on my corys, other angels, nor my rainbow shark. But now my blk mollies, swordtail, and tiger barbs have spots when they didn't a few days ago.

Yes, I got your tag by you quoting me. Also you can add the '@' sign before my user name to tag.

Most ppl aren't using salt but I use 1tblspoon per 5 gallon and increase heat to 82 to increase lifecycle of Ich and get the job done faster. I use salt for 1 week after I see the last ich spot drop.

I mentioned Salt because I noticed Kalinastar has artificial plants. Most live plants won't tolerate much salt.

The reproductive stage of Ich is still finding hosts. I think you need a stronger med like kordon rid ich.
