Angelfish Fins And Salt Question

So I noticed some torn fins on my angelfish and I either suspect the other angels have been picking on him/her or it's possible it's fin rot. I've read a couple thing about adding salt and raising the temp a bit to help heal the fins. Now I also have Gourami, swordtail, dragon goby, and 2 plecos and snails in the tank. Would it be okay to add the salt with them in it also? If so what concentration should I add the salt to?

If it is fin rot all that raising the temperature would do is speed up the process. Salt dips can be beneficial but just adding salt to the tank does little since its such a low concentration. Typically to either heal fins or stop fin rot you start by keeping the water really clean. If it is fin rot and clean water isng helping you can look into meds or hydrogen peroxide since its a bacterial thing.

I wouldn't expect it's a water cleanliness thing because my water parameters are perfec5 and water is crystal clear. I'd be more afraid my water is too clean. I can take some pics when I get home from work today for reference

Your right. They don't.
So is this fin rot or some sort of injury?

Hi. Keeping pristine water will help the fins heal.

Nobody is saying your water quality caused it. But now that it has begun, one of the best ways to heal it is daily water changes.

It looks to me like damage that is beginning to rot.

If it were me I would do daily water changes and I'd look into what's causing the damage..... Like separating the angels if they are fighting
