I have noticed it really depends on the individual. When I get smaller ones I've noticed they're pickier than the larger ones. The smaller guys I just usually try to feed frozen until I can be sure they're eating a good pellet.

Domestic scalare angels aren't typically picky eaters.

Mine are small they eat pellet but not touch anything else
