I currently have two angelfish in a 29-gallon tank, and I'm upgrading to a 220-gallon tank. I've always loved guppies (they were the first fish I've ever had) and was wondering if I could put a few with the angelfish in the 220 gallon.
However, I've been reading a lot of conflicting information on putting guppies with angelfish. A lot of videos on YouTube show them living together just fine, and Live Aquaria's compatibility chart says they should do well. However, the pet store person and my dad both insist that the angelfish will kill the guppies, and I have seen my angelfish eat a really small young guppy (it was an accident that inexperienced me made a few years ago). Even on some threads on this forum, there are a lot of conflicting responses.
