Hello, Im trying to look for a pair of angel ram cichlids. Im having trouble sexing them, I would like a male and female pair. I got some pictures from my LFS. Is there anyone that can tell from the pictures? I can take more if necessary!

Many of those Rams have their fins clamped and don't look too healthy. I would buy them from a different shop. :)

Even though inbreeding in fish is less of an issue than with mammals it's still not really advisable. If you want a male and female it's best to get them at two separate locations.

I would avoid these! They don't looks to healthy and you will find them elsewhere with much vibrant and brighter colours. Like Mike said, purchase from 2 separate places. If you have a Maidenhead aquatics near they nearly always have a nice selection of Rams.
