OK, so I apologize for not being here except when I have a problem with my fish. Well-here's a doozie that even the manager of the pet store, who knows a ton about fish, has never even heard of!!! I have 2 Angels, who've grown up together. One is slightly larger than the other, but up until recently, have gotten along wonderfully. I have a 55 gallon tank, by the way, with an assortment of different fish & snails & plecos. SO-lately, my Angels will attach to one another at the mouth and the larger one will pull the other around by the mouth! Now, I've been observing and the smaller one will grab the larger ones mouth and let it pull it around. But, once they break free, the larger one will visciously chase the smaller until it hides where it can't be reached-which I've already heard about the chasing, it's pretty much normal. Now-if anyone has any ideas or knowledge of the 'mouthing' thing, please, fill me in!!! This is one of the more bizarre things I've ever seen!!! Side note: I only have been turning the lights on to feed-and they seem to only do this when the lights are ON and not off...too weird.
As for me-nothing but problems, so I'll spare you I think of you all often, wish I could be here, but I'm always so tired. I actually got around to cleaning my tank today-on top of running errands...sounds easy, but I only have 8-10 weeks to go before my new daughter arrives Anyhow-take Care & keep up the good work you've all done here!!!
Muah!
