Amnagrla's Tank! :-)

Yay!! Okay.. I'm just going to post a ton of pictures.. I also made a 1 minute movie that I'll post on youtube..

Here are some just of the whole tank... and then some feeding time!! They ALL like the algae wafers...

Tiny is getting so big!!

I have three otos. Dusty Bottoms, Lucky Day, and Ned Nederlander.

Here are my balloon mollies!! Pinto (orange - male), Lilly (white - female), and Sophie (black - female)

I hope everyone likes my tank!!!

My three otos keep sucking in a little triangle.. it's so cute. I want a picture but they always scoot away when I get the camera... so when I get that.. I'll be posting it!!

those photos are wonderful. I love your Colosseum, that is great! ;D Your fish look very happy in there, I do like the way you decorated everything!

 

Aw, thanks. When I bought the colliseum, I didn't realize it was so big... but I knew I was putting little fish in the tank.. and I had vowed if they never played with it or hid in it, I would take it out and re-decorate... but they LOVE it. Sometimes they play hide and seek (as there are two back entrances not including the front) or they even slalom between the posts!! Tiny, when he was just a small fry (heh heh.. sorry. bad joke) would literally stay inside it to stay protected. Nigel, the gourami loves it too. I was surprised seeing as he's pretty big.

lol I don't know if you noticed down by the bubbling clam... there is a scary snake cave thing that doesn't seem to match anything... My 4 year old neighbor "surprised" me with it when I let him name Jaws (the guppy!) haha So can't take it out now!! He'll cry!

I already posted some baby guppy pictures in another post... but seeing as this is My Tank! I thought I'd put them here, too!

There are 4 total. I just woke up and found them at the surface today when I was feeding... I think they are already a week or two old!

Lovely fish! A great mix you've got in there. The mollies are adorable.

 

But then again, mollies are always adorable. I worship the water they swim through! Seriously, mollies are awesome, am totally in love with mine. But didnt Amanda get guppy fry?

It makes me happy you were able to sucessfully have fry from your mollies....... I've heard awful horror stories of fry borrowing out of the side of the mom and her dying and all sorts of awful stuff!!

 

That happened to mine! People thought I was making it up. Am glad you heard that happens too. By some unknown miracle, she survived it. And now, she got pregnant again and no problem giving birth this time.

OK, maybe I shouldn't talk about it now that yours may be pregnant. But look, noone on Fishlore really believed it, including the balloon owners, so that means that, you know, all in all perhaps it's rare? When I searched on the internet, though, for balloon molly pregnancy and birth, the stories were pretty scary.

Do molly's get a gravid spot??? Because I've been watching VERY carefully... Lilly is all white and Sophie is all black.
