Ammonia Question on a flower horn fish tank

So I just changed over to a 65 gallon tank about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks ago and purchased a Flowerhorn the water parameters were all good at the time of the purchase of the fish then like an idiot I purchased some feeders and put them in the tank and the ammonia went through the roof and now it’s been about a week and a half and the ammonia is around a four ppm And I can’t tell if he’s acting a little weird. He was kind of like attacking the top of the water I just really love this guy and I wanna make sure he’s OK I’ve already put seed bacteria in the filter and also put prime in the fish tank as well should I do a water change?

Definitely do a water change. You can even do a couple of back to back smaller water changes if that's easier
