So I just checked the cycling 135 gallon tank.
Yesterday readings
P.h 7.6
Ammonia 1.0~1.5 ppm
Nitrites 1.0~1.5ppm
Nitrates 5ppm
I just checked them again right now
P.h 7.6
Ammonia 0.0
Nitrites 2.0 ppm
Nitrates 10ppm
Why is the ammonia gone but nitrites are still up there like this?

I believe it's because the bacteria that convert nitrites to nitrates haven't caught up, but it sounds like your tank is well on the way to being cycled.
