I have had my betta in this aquarium for 6 months now and he’s been lethargic and sick all the time for the past month or so, I just got the ammonia test today and it is 0,5 mg/l , the pH is always around 7,6. Could this be causing the problem? What can I do to lower it down if it is, please help! Also, the tank wasn’t cycled before I got him because I didn’t know about this at the time.

I did 50% water change just yesterday and took the test, they are 0 and 25 mg/l like they usually are. I’ll do one again, what prime can I get?

A 50% WC would remove 50% of the ammonia, so .25 ppm is what you'd expect to see is your ammonia was .5 ppm.

This is the prime you want...

Do you know if Sera has something like that because we don’t have that here in Serbia?
And okay, I’ll do a water change again, thank you so much.

Look on Amazon for Seachem Prime, might be able to order some but as long as you're using a water conditioner it should be fine. Doing a water change daily won't hurt your fish, do a water change for the next 4 days and test the water after you change it, also test your tap water to make sure you're not getting ammonia from that
