I recently added a new aqua soil TNA into my aquarium . I know much soils leech ammonia for the first few days/weeks .

I've added a cycled sponge filter just to speed up the process . The probably I'm having is I am getting foaming/excess bubbles being left on the surface of the water .

Is this due to the ammonia going through my filter ?

Those look like bubbles from your filter uplift. They're leading away from the outlet in a straight line and then doing a turn at the far end of the tank and heading back. You maybe have some protein on the water surface that's holding them together longer than they usually would.

The ammonia you get in the tank is not like foaming household cleaning ammonia.
