Received some fish yesterday and the bag burst in shipment. 15 poor fish were swimming around in a little tiny amount of water. Too many fish in one small bag and hardly any water!

How would having no air have effected them? They were super stresses that's for sure.

So far they have all survived but I see some ammonia burn around their gills.

    How can I help them?

    Does it heal?

Clean water and time! What kind of fish are they?

Add any extra movement and bubbles to your water imo, ammo burn means gills are less effective so to avoid having them suffocate try to force as much oxygen into the water that you can until they begin to recover.
