My small amazon swords have been practically deteriorating at the tips of the leaves. Is this some sort of nutrient deficiency? How can I help this? Reminder- I do not use substrate

That's what I was thinking too. I'll put some root tabs in soon and see what happens. Thanks for the help!

Swords are huge nutrient hogs. Root tabs are a must.
Reminder- I do not use substrate
Substrate is gravel, sand, stones....etc. It looks to be in gravel. No substrate would be just a glass tank. :)

Ohh. I always assumed it was some type of nutrient rich soil I guess. Thanks for the help though!
