I was just looking at my amano shrimp today and noticed that one has turned red. It's basically a more translucent sakura RCS red with a few clear bands on its body. Anyone have ideas on this? Could it possibly an RCS that was very clear and stressed when I bought her?(I'll get a pic up soon, but I want a few ideas first)

What are you feeding and are you sure they arn't neocardinia denticulata. I don't think Amanos turn red normally? Any pics? Cherry shrimp can pale out, i know i have seen that in a thread before and then they color back up.

The only thing I've ever fed my Amanos were Repashy Community, that was once, and I only saw one shrimp eat it though. I let them eat biofilm and algae off of plants. I'm thinking it's an RCS. I'll get you a pic.

99% sure it's a cherry. (sorry for bad quality, used an iPhone)
