Amano Shrimp plus Serpae Tetra

I have 9 Serpae Tetras in a 23Gal planted tank with a huge brown algae (Diatoms) problem. I would like to add some X-Large Amano Shrimp to handle the Diatoms. Will my brat Serpaes attack them?

Could try snails too. Haven't seen my serpaes go after them yet! But i do also keep a bigger school. So it might be worth a shot to try a couple nerites if they eat the shrimp or something.

I have amano shrimp in a tank with serpae tetras, and I haven't noticed any kind of interaction between them.
