Am I the only one who celebrates fish birthdays

I always celebrate my fish birthdays by giving them treats like live food or something like that they shouldn’t be getting to often. I don’t really know what day they were born so I just make it the day I got them lol but it’s easy to keep track of because i only have a flower horn and a blood parrot

I have way to many fish to do that! If I get another betta I might try to remember though .

I don’t have fish yet, (soon, LW)
But we don’t celebrate animal birthdays consistently. On a farm it’s a little much to have a cake for each chicken, duck, goat, pig, sheep. “Pet” animals like the dogs or cats are more likely, (not that the livestock aren’t loved and cared for, there’s just so many of them. And the fact that market stock are gone before birthday.) but it’s easier to spoil them all on big holidays like thanksgiving and Christmas: yard dog and LGD dog get pork bones, cats get turkey skin, pigs get anything carcass-like (Turkey, not pork) that’s too much for the dogs, the birds might get extra scratch grain. Earlier in the season, but the flock gets whole pumpkins leftover from a pumpkin patch in the fall, apple or peach seconds as a treat when they’re in season.
it’s more the day-to-day that celebrates, IMO. Like, while doing chores “oh look at Eowyn she’s two this spring, right? She’s grown into such a pretty ewe. She’s built just like her father. Remember her as a lamb?”

I am going to celebrate Acorn's birthday which (By my best guess is sometime in November so I'm just going to say November 11).

THAT'S INCREDIBLE!! I'm planning to celebrate adoption days....which will give me incentive to keep them alive

I never really 'celebrated' as I've only been keeping fish for 1.5 years, but I definitely noted the dates I got my fish. Probably when my fish get to 3 or 5 years I'll celebrate properly!

I do that for my cats. For some reason, it's easier to keep track of theirs.
