Am I going to come home to a leaking tank?

Hi all, I am headed out of town for about a week and just set up my 5 gal tank after moving house. The new-to-the-tank furniture piece that I have the tank on was originally a 10 gallon stand, but it's one of those particle board cabinet things and over the years the top shelf has bowed a bit. I haven't kept a tank on it in probably 7 years, so I have no idea what the integrity is of the shelf.

Currently there is a small but noticeable gap under the middle of the tank. I'd say at the largest gap, it's about a millimeter? (Picture included---please excuse the state of the tank itself, moving across states is hard lol). The tank is otherwise level and all four corners are down. I am having a heck of a time finding a stand, especially one that would get here before I head out of town. What are the chances that I'll come home to a broken/leaking tank if I leave it? And where on earth do you guys get your 5 gallon stands?

I think you'll be fine? I'd put a towel or two under it or maybe put it in a bin and fill it halfway to watch it closely if you haven't filled it yet.

If all four corners of the tank are contacting the stand things will likely be fine.
Many varieties of aquarium stands, especially metal ones, have no support in the middle, only on the sides & corners.

All four corners should touch the stand when the tank is empty. If they don't, the tank will attempt to flex when filled... and that's when problems can occur.

Thanks all! The two short sides and all four corners are down so I think it'll be fine. I will likely get one of those dual 10/5 tank stands when I get back just to ease my conscience and my MTS...

I would agree also it should be fine, i had a tank a while back that had a little gap in the middle but was fine because all the corners touched the stand where the pressure is. Also, a lot of tanks and stands aren't exactly perfectly totally even anyways I've noticed also.
