Am I feeding my pleco's enough?

I am concerned about how much to feed my pleco's. They seem INCREDIBLY hungry these days. At the moment I am giving them about 8 large hikari wafers per day (mixed food, but equivalent of that). Is that not enough? There are 5x 5" plecos, one 9" sailfin pleco, 4 yoyo loaches (2x 4", 2x 5"), and unknown amount of small plecos (0.5-2").

Well established tank, 130 gallons (480 liters). Good filtration, has a lot of driftwood (but this is about 4 years old).

The pleco's are breeding, so doubt they are doing TOO bad. I have had no deaths among the plecos, and most of them are 4-7 years old (with exception to the newborns).

Forgot to mention that, I do give them Zucchini from time to time. Not regularly, but usually a few days in a row once a month.

Is the quantity of food provided enough? It's a mix of 5 different sinking wafers and pellets, by Hikari, Ocean Nutrition and New Life Spectrum (so it's quality food).

Sounds good to me. If they are growing well, breeding and looking healthy, you're doing something right.

Fish always look hungry :).

What types of plecos? Are there other fish in the tank? Sounds like you’re feeding a lot but I’ve never had more than 3 in a tank. Got a picture of the tank?

I used to think the same with my mollies! They always look hungry and will beg for food to the point where I started feeding them twice a day but then I realized that they were tricking me! Fish always want food and will do whatever it takes to get food!

2x adult albino commons, 2 adult commons, 1 large young common, 2x l333 (forgot about those in original post), 2x adult yoyo loaches, 2x young adult yoyo loaches, 1 adult (but small, max 10") sailfin pleco.

Live with an Oscar, but they are fed at night when he sleeps. So no competition.

Babies are all small albinos and commons, varying sizes and ages (usually 1 per litter survives, and they have A LOT of litters).

Commons will eat meat based food not just algae. Would increase the food some my single 4 inch bristlenose eats 3 large wafers along with the plants I have for him to munch.
