Am I Allowed To Keep These Plants?

As of now, I live in Southern California, and I was looking at a list of regulated/banned plants.
There were some on the list that I own, like Anacharis and Cabomba.... but I'm not quite sure if they're illegal or just regulated.

Can someone give me a link or a list about these plants? Also what should I do with them if they are illegal?

Just don’t put them outside and you should be fine. It’s not like there going to come into your house and attempt to Id plants. They just don’t want it getting out because it’s invasive

 

You should probably also be careful about what you do with your old tank water when you do water changes. A lot of the nasty invasives spread very easily from small fragments - it’s kind of why they’re invasive. I don’t know what would be the best way to treat the water; maybe somebody else has an idea?

 

Well I live out in the high desert, so there's no bodies of water nearby, and I water my grass with the old tank water, so it definitely won't spread

 

Most aquatic plant sellers won’t ship to california due to most plants being illegal. Anacharis najas/densa and cabomba are both an invasive species. But my local petco and petsmart sell anacharis densa for $5 for the bundle. So I’m really not sure if it’ll illegal.

Like MD said, it should be fine as long as you keep it in the tank.
