Alternate uses for used aquasoil

BlackOsprey

I have aquasoil in my planted tank, and between it turning muddy and the recent planaria infestation, I'm going to remove it altogether. Now this stuff is expensive and still probably has some nutrition left in it, so I don't want to just throw it all away. Would it be feasible to use this stuff in a terrarium, or in a flower pot?

I don't see why not. Buying aquarium specific soil just means it's safe to use in aquariums.

I used my extra aquasoil to root plant cuttings in
All my aquasoil is almost 10yrs old and still going good.

Also you can use fenbowhatsamccallit to kill planaria without harming fish or shrimp

I've used chemical dewormer to treat planaria infestations before. Unfortunately, that stuff lingers pretty badly, which makes the tank too toxic for snails for a long time. I don't really want to do that again.
