So I’m mainly talking about my community tank cause sometimes my peacock gudgeons in the other tank will eat pellets. I tried hikari micro pellets,Serra nip granuals and nls micro probiotic which they despise!? it’s a brand new container and all my fish hate it I feed them omega one first flakes and frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms usually but want to mix it up with pellets. Any suggestions?

they just spit out the pellets and make a big mess

Shrimp pellets go over well for my bottom feeders haven't had any luck with any other kind

My fish don't mind the Extreme micro pellets, but they usually get flakes because i tend to overfeed on the micro pellets because they are so small.

Maybe just skip pellets altogether and use frozen foods instead to vary up from flakes all the time.

I have always gotten all my fish to feed on whatever food I want to feed them, whether pellets or otherwise. All I do is keep on feeding them the same food over and over again without any other food. Eventually they'll starve enough that they have to eat whatever they can get their mouths on, i.e. the food you want them to feed on.

Yes, there is no need to babysit fish and force them to eat on the spot. Just leave them alone for a few days and try again, eventually they will eat.

But those are not the best food for peacock gudgeons. You want more protein heavy food like krill flakes, salmon flakes or freeze dried bloodworms

I recently tried some PE pellets form Piscine Energetics. Everyone, including the Peacock Gudgeons go kinda crazy for them. And PEs frozen Calanus causes a feeding frenzy. This is a new brand to me, but I find that frozen foods in general get a better feeding response.

As said above, don't feed for a few days, then try again.
