I have a 10 gal tank 6 guppies. Few months ago noticed top of head to neck lost color.. I have 2 yellowish so it is very clear on them. I used melafix for 7 days. Seemed to help. Scales never came back but looked a little better. I do 2 gallons a week water change.. All the numbers look good on the chart. I was told it may be bacteria. Today i noticed one yellow one with redish lips... Am I using the proper drops??? I just started them on Melafix again.. Please help.. Not sure how to post photo.. Thanks

Hi welcome to FishLore!!
Can you post your readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?
What chemicals are you using in the tank?

I don't think I've seen anything like that. Hopefully other members will have some ideas.

This tank has all the boys in it.. My 26 gal has all girls.. all raised from babies..
They are all fine.. Its just this tank.. Only thing diff is...light is led.. 7-8 hours of light.. I showed the guy in the fish shop.. He thinks it's a bacteria

It's possible. I can't say for sure. What did he advise that you do?

No, I haven't heard of lights hurting guppies, but I don't know much about lighting.
Can you change the lighting?
Is everything in the tank aquarium safe?
When you said you hoped you were using proper drops, what kind of drops?
I'm hoping someone else will have some ideas for you.

Columnaris isn't a true fungus. It's a bacterial infection.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to help.
Good luck and please let us know how things go.
