My tank is fully cycled. I am just now starting to see small areas of algae build up on the inside of the acryllic. when is it enough algae to buy an algae eater?

When you can tell that it can do harm.

my guess is that its brown algae. everyone gets it when the tank has just cycled. you can either wat and let it go away on its own or buy algae eaters like otocinclus, cherry shrimp and/or amano shrimp to eat it.

yea its brown. very little. maybe my uv filter keeps it down? i just dont want to starve an algae eater by not having enough algae
