Anyone have a good way to stop the algae slime from growing on my tank top glass? The rest of the tank is free from it but like every two weeks I have to wipe off the underside of lid. Not a big deal, just wondering if anyone has a neat trick?

Before you reply, please note. no I am not going to reduce the time my lights are on, my plants are thriving and I am not willing to do anything to jeopardize them. Again, just looking if anyone has a good idea to stop it.

Thanks

Every week when I do a 50-60% water change in my tanks, well the whole tank including the lids and inside of glass gets wiped down. Part of owning a nice tank.

I also have that stuff growing on my glass covers. especially where the water splashes up. The only solution I've found is to clean it off about every week or so. I just remove the glass and scrape it off with a glass scraper. There are just some unpleasant tasks that go along with fish keeping.
