Algae eaters for 6g tank

I have a nursery tank for my 55g and it's got lots of green algae in it due to the amount of light it gets. I've got nowhere else for it to go so that isn't an option. So I thought about adding something into my tank to eat the algae. My big tank has a pleco in it which does an awesome job at eating algae but obviously most (all?) plecos are too large for a 6g. Any ideas?

Nerite snails are good algae eaters

Nerites are definitely your best bet. Between them and a trio of oto's in my 36 gallon they take care of 99% of all of my algae. Nerites are great.

They posed on the top when they finally finished...I think they were cleaning eachother :)

My 3 nerites did something very similar to my texas holey rock. That thing was covered and I wasn't sure how I would clean it. Every couple of days i would take it out and scrub it with a toothbrush. My nerites keep that thing sparkling now.

Nerites are the way to go. There are also many different kinds of shell types/patterns to choose from.
