Hello people

I have a 10 gallon tank with what looks like some algae growing on the glass and I need something to clean it up. I can also supplement the algae eater with wafers. I have a 10 gallon filter, with 6 CPDs, 2 endlers, and crypt wendtii.

All replies are greatly appreciated!

I would get a nerite snail personally. But you also need to figure out what is causing the algae and get that fixed.

I was thinking of nerites but my water level is probably too high. I also know nothing about kh, gh, etc.

Yamatos would be a good option.

I don't think I can care for inverts just yet

Snails are invertabrates...

You aren’t really going to be able to find a fish that will eat algae in this tank size or with this rock since your pretty much at max.

Just clean it yourself. It’s 10 gallons so it’s not huge or would take much time to do it.

hi. what's your feeding rate? how much the light on? what type of filter you use

overfeeding reduce the algae.
long duration of lights on surely will create algae.
not moving water let the algae to grow. filters that makes flow that prevent the algae to stick to the glass of the tank.

can you post a pic for the tank?
