Alerts, following members?

For awhile now, been noticing that I am not receiving all alerts when members I am following post?
Has there been a change or is there a setting I am missing?
Please advise.

edit: I use the forum website on a windows pc and android phone.

You don't get alerts. You just go on your profile and choose following. They will come up there what they have posted or commented on.

I never recieved alerts for that. If you click on your name at the top, and click "news feed" you can see their posts.

It used to work that way for me, but... lately not so much. I get them now and then, sporadically.
