OK I jumped got four Albino Cory Catfish and one of them looked like it was trying to school with my Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami for a while it's stopped for now but I want to know if this is natural when first introduced to the tank also now they have all been swimming all individually around the tank is this normal?
Tank inhabitants
1 Silver Molly
1 Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami
and 4 Albino Cory Catfish
the water levels when I got them were
ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
And Nitrates 6
Water temperature 75° f
:what:

It's quite normal for corys to swim up & down & glass surf when introduced to a new tank, they'll settle down after a while.
I'd suggest when you can to get a few more as they'll feel more secure in a larger group.

What size tank?

I doubt it was really trying to school with the DG. Probably still getting used to the new tank.

I plan to have a total of six but four is all Petsmart has in stock at one time they informed me they won't have anymore till the first of August minimum or I'd get them sooner than that.

That's normal too. I find that my corys are a lot more active right after a water change. They're just enjoying the fresh water.
