albino channel catfish

Well I just got back from my lfs, they got more fish in today and they were still aclimating them;D so I was excited, I noticed for the first time that they have albino channel catfish, I was wondering if these were like the chanel cats that you can catch fishing at almost any lake or pond. Do they get as big?

 

They get enormous when housed properly... just one more species that should not be so commonly available in the hobby IMHO.

yes these are like the catfish you catch when fishing only albino. They get huge and are messy.

haha I think those would be pretty cool if you could have the right set up witch unfortunatly I will most likely never have

just kind of a what if question but you could probably stock a pond like a farm pond with them couldn't you?
