So I got a 57g for Christmas!! My biggest tank yet, it is stocked(so far) with
    1 moonlight gourami
1 angel fish(by the way do they usually just hangout at the top and never leave the surface?)
6 albino cory cats(they are more active than I thought they would be)
    1 mystery snail
    1 vampire shrimp
    A few rcs culls
And 31 guppy fry(I will get rid of all of them within a month)
What are your thoughts on my tank? Any suggestions? Advice? Comments? Also I know lighting is awful, I am looking for some better lightsAB1E1342-9845-4F0F-9A6A-04B9F65A7324.jpeg0BC397E4-B52E-4E91-8C18-45E5A95C7D18.jpeg918CDC08-9E63-4054-AE8B-90D6FBC5A581.jpeg7A5B7E72-C6C5-489D-8F9E-BF12EF55566C.jpegC876BAA8-FAAF-40D5-B8D7-7FD564EF9480.jpegA4B0BDCC-76DF-4E9F-9377-6F222638D482.jpeg7AFD77E4-C31C-4BF5-B69F-ECB7891C0389.jpeg

Congrats! I would consider putting some moss on your rocks and wood, maybe primarily on the left side and just a little towards the center? I’m excited to see what schooling fish you choose

    Looking good!!!

Ok cool, I also want to mention I got the rock, wood and sand all outside. Why spend money am I right? (But me getting the sand outside is the cause of it taking longer to settle)

Does anyone know what these white things are? Are they snail eggs @ValerieAdams :p? Also for some reason the water is cloudier today than yesterday 1FD6F4E8-9200-48C4-A027-104BC7FE9255.jpeg5AED8B53-32B8-43B4-A843-45B879E6E9C9.jpeg

Definitely not snail eggs. Is the mystery snail the only snail you have?

A Cory cat died over night I have no idea why, maybe the stress of moving? Now I only have 5 Cory cats:( I knew I should have bought all 7 Cory cats the store had instead of the snail. Also mr angel and mr moonlight are best of buds always together

Oh okay, well pond and ramshorns will lay their eggs in the water and I doubt you will see them if you have them.

    Sorry about your Cory:(

Since my betta died today, I moved my guppies and sword tails to this tank

The tank really cleared up after last night, and check out how small these guys are

I love the driftwood/rocks. It looks good

Thanks, the cool part is I didn’t buy the wood, sand nor rocks, this is the scary part... I go out side

I found some of my shrimp culls I put in when it first got set up, shocking! Why only males though?

Forgot to let the pictures load again lol. I found 4 at a time B5E1D387-5916-4C88-9352-1D562E32FFB7.jpeg5BAD965A-3192-478C-9D77-A7E55FC88C9A.jpeg

Never thought driftwood was so tasty until I got this tank, the fish are constantly eating stuff off of it C2E84ED6-61A1-4F0F-AA9C-FDFB131A57AC.jpeg Don’t jump! Any suggestions as to how to keep my Cory cats from constantly kicking up sand?
  15. Thunder_o_bFishlore VIPMember

I very much like your setup :)
  16. ValerieAdamsFishlore VIPMember

Hmm.. I doubt it. Mine don't though
  17. FanaticFishlore VIPMember

What a great looking tank you've got there! I love how natural everything is, the rocks and branches look good.
  18. AJEWell Known MemberMember

The only thing I don’t like about this tank is it is always cloudy
  19. AJEWell Known MemberMember

I lost a Cory and a guppy(as in I can’t find them) and some one ate my mystery snail. Who do you think did it? A544E8DE-210E-4D85-A6E3-68EE983F30EE.jpeg

This is by far my favorite of my 2 tanks and pond. I did a 50% water Changes, it looks clearer now. The dwarf sag seems to be doing better than I thought it would do, I have about double the amount 317EFF74-83BE-4501-B3FC-3BDAD9649AEB.jpeg8271DCF3-5236-4C16-ABBE-7776068BEC61.jpegF0E5C342-E25F-4B53-908A-CE34E44AE293.jpeg441DF722-9D95-43E1-BCDB-A6FD98F45054.jpeg
