Aggressive guppy male

Hello! so I had 2 male guppies and 6 female in my 20gallon. 1 male guppy died for unknown reason. And I have 3 injured female and another one that is stressed tf out. They’re all being chased by this little beautiful white platinum guppy. I got all these guppies a week ago. This is my first aquarium.

I guess what I'm trying to find out is:

A) do guppies tend to be aggressive?
B) what if I did all male? Would it be better than my 2-6 ratio?

I'm also a noob. I was planning on 3 male guppies and a nano school, but when I got them, two guppies were constantly bullying one of the others and I ended up taking two back and am rethinking my plans.

Good luck.

When you have nale and female live bearers, you have breeding aggression, males trying to get to females, females trying to defend themselves, females that need room to be pregnant but aren't getting it.

I recommend keeping only one sex of live bearing fish. Yes you can keep all males, somtimes males will still be aggressive to each other, but not always.

I'd go one male and the rest females, that way there is no competition.

Best options:
All males (some aggression to start as the pecking order settles)
1 male the rest female
All female (some aggression but less than males as pecking order settles)

I had a group of 10 males in my 10 gallon. One would bully during feeding time so I just ended up spreading food across the surface instead of in one spot and things calmed down.
