I recently purchased a ADF for a tank with a sizable population of MTS. This past week I noticed that the frog has seemed to grow fat and there aren't as many snails as there used to be. Can anyone confirm or deny my suspicions that my ADF is eating the snails?

    Hi Seahawk65 welcome to FishLore!

    What kind of snails?
I hope your frog is not eating them. He won't be able to digest the shells. At least I don't think so.
I have seen my froglets poke at Malaysian trumpet snails but my adults haven't been exposed to them.

Let's see what other frog keepers have to say.

    Thanks, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails.

Sorry, I saw MTS after I posted. :)
I moved your thread to the amphibians section.
More ADF keepers will see it here and hopefully give more input.

    Post some pictures soon!

I'm new to the site an didn't see the amphibians area when I posted so thanks for moving it. I was watching my frog today and noticed him attack at one of the snails and try to pull the snail out of the shell like a dwarf puffer. I've yet to see him succeed but he is trying.
