Hi,
I am new here , so excuse me if I have mistakes in my post, but I have a problem with my little frog ( by name Lizard...) He have a strange looking white spot on the back of his head. I have tried to tread it with Flagyl ( Metronidazole) for 2 weeks , because was scared of fungi. It get a bit better, but still there. The little guy seems ok - eats, swims etc. But I am bothered by the white spot... He use to share an aquarium with aN african clawed frog, now he is alone, just to be sure that it is not mechanica
I made a bit better photo:

He's a cutie. I'm not sure about the spot, but a dab of an antibiotic ointment couldn't hurt, like neosporin. You could use a q-tip or finger if he'd let you.

The little fellow seems ok, the wound is healing. The thing that i did was more frequent 20% water changes, so probably something was wrong with the water, but I am out of tests, and unable to get new
