Bought some new plants for my tank which have kept my nitrates at zero. Added a few more rocks but it seems my mbunas prefer open space. Absolutely love African cichlids and can't wait to see them grow into adults. Will be getting a custom 1000L tank in a few months to grow them out and more cichlids of course lol.

Thanks. Not your typical african scape but I'm happy with it. The rocks are caribsea reef rock and Texas holey Rock.

Small ones are Anubias and Java ferns. The 3 big ones were unknown to seller but I would agree with you and say they are some type of swords. They start off looking like Amazon swords in an aquarium but will grow long stems with wide, short leaves under high output lights or in an outdoor pond.

It looks beautiful. I love the colors of your fish especially the blue ones.
