african catfish not eating please help Help

    150 gallon all water parameters are ok 3 blood parrots 1 jd 1 Oscar 1 African catfish the catfish hasn't been eating his food is it ok to move him to my 55 gallon with 3 khuli loaches 4 black skirt Tetras 2 dwarf gourami 1 Molly 1 platy

    i would say not but not knowing the exact species of catfish or size cant say for definate but if they can fit in its mouth i would be hesitant

    Your featherfin can hurt the loaches.

    Try feeding him at night with bottom feeder rounds. They are mainly nocturnal. They are also shy in my experience; he may not eat while you're in the room.

    is it a synodontis? try hikari sinking excel the small pellets maybe

    It's a synodontis eupterus. I've seen photos of his fish. :)

    a feed my whole African community sinking excel. its the only thing my synodons will come out for when the lights on. I've had him over two years, they don't eat much and they're tough as nails. they'll jump outta the tank just after lights out so be careful
