Yes. Large, frequent water changes are required to for healthy, optimal discus growth. Juveniles require multiple, small feedings throughout the day, and water changes are necessary to keep water quality pristine.

I don't know what "wt" is. Juvenile refers to the age of the fish. So juvenile discus are younger than adult discus.

For 11 discus, I would be doing daily 50% water changes. I would rehome some now - that tank isn't large enough for that many discus.

I would improve their diet too, as detailed in the other discus thread.

Adding tannins to the water will do nothing for the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates. It can lower the pH, but if the discus are tank bred, they're likely fine in your pH and you don't need to mess with it.

Getting your tank cycled and water changes. Very, very important. With juvenile discus, you need to feed them frequently and do large, frequent water changes to help them grow quickly and large. If you don't like to do water changes, discus are not a good choice.

Domer has already covered what is needed.
frequent water changes and plenty of feedings. yes they are a beautiful fish but if you can't care for them properly I would highly recommend going with something else.
11 2-3 inch Discus are as juvenile as your gonna find on the market. They need extra care and attention their first 6-9 months. can you do less water changes? sure, but I would almost guarantee you will be starting a new thread asking "how to help your sick fish"
at 2-3 inches with 1 50% water change a week and little feedings probably 10 out of the 11 will become stunted. what that means is their organs will continue to grow but because of lack of food their bodys will grow much, much smaller in comparison. if you try to feed a lot of feedings but don't do the extra water changes required then the WATER
will become dirty and less than Prestine. it is a no win situation.
if you want Discus with less demand, buy Adults, although I still do 2-3 water changes a week on my adults.
just sayin, if you can't provide the care need for juvies I would stay away from them.

You only wasting ur money on that aditive as it does very little.
Best replacement for that is Indian Almond Leafs (Kapata Leafs) sold on ebay for fraction of the price then black water and on top 1 leaf lasts up to 3 weeks.

You can also get tannin-stained water using driftwood.
