Advice needed - preventative meds?

I have 2 tanks running, 32.5 main tank, 10 g qt.
Last week I moved 6 panda cories and 5 platy fish from the QT to the main tank. I have 3 zebra danios that are the residents of the QT normally (yes I know 10 isn't big enough but they got evicted from the main tank, long story). After I moved the QT fish over the danios went back into the QT.

We went away for 4 days. When we returned one panda Cory was behaving like he had swim bladder. Laying on his side, doing head stands when he tried to swim. He was really badly off. Gave him an epsom salt dip, he died a few hours later. I didn't notice anything before we left on our trip. Today one of the danios in the 10g died. I didn't notice anything but I didn't really check on them - just a quick look.

Could this be a disease from the pandas that's now been introduced to the 32.5? If so is there something I can dose my tank with as a just in case? I'm in Canada though so limited to what I can get

I had them in QT for 21 days. Moved them to the big tank a week earlier than I wanted because I didn't want to leave them in the 10g for 4 days, it was so heavily stocked (11 fish) I was doing WC's every 3 days. So I moved them over the week before we left, monitored behaviour with the Betta and felt good about leaving.

Water parameters in both tanks are good, as follows;

32.5g Fluval.flex
219 gph filter
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates under 20
pH 7.4
GH 180
KH 80-120
Temp 77.9
Stock - 1 female Betta, 6 platies, 9 guppies, 6 panda cories, ramshorn and trumpet snails
Planted with Anubias, java fern, crypt, vals, 3 pieces of driftwood
Fluval Bug bites, bug bites flakes, tropical flakes, shrimp wafers
Weekly 30% water changes
No sign of disease before we left, very sick and died when we returned 4 days later.

10g
Aquaclear 10 HOB filter
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates under 20
pH 7.0
Gh 20-60
KH 40
Temp 76
Not planted
3 zebra danios
Bug bites, big bites flakes
Weekly 30-50 % water changes
Did not notice any signs of illness but wasn't attentive for a week.

Everyone seems happy so far but what if the Danio was like a canary in the coal mine?

Hi, using the wrong medication for something can do more harm than good sometimes, I would say until you can positively identify a particular disease or condition not to medicate 'just in case'. IMO keeping your water sparkling clean with good parameters is the best starting point.

+1 ^. If the unexplained deaths continue you might consider "Prazipro".
It is anti parasitic, safe for the majority of all fish & will not destroy the benificial bacteria.

Thank you. I don't know if I can get that here. The only thing I have on hand is Ich meds, salt and Epsom salt. I did start looking into getting parasite treatments after reading a thread about worms but wasn't able to find anything that I could get here. I'll see if I can find some on other local forums. Probably good to have on hand. No other sick fish so far :emoji_fingers_crossed:

Look at "Microbe Lift Herbtana". It's a broad spectrum herbal anti parasitic med. My LFS uses it.
It was used to cure Ich on a shipment of Denison Barbs I ordered.
