Adventure Begins

I've been stalking CLs ads for 150 gallon + tank but haven't had any luck yet. In the meantime I bought a 40 gallon breeder at PetCo for their $1 per gallon sale until my dream tank appears.

I'm going to start slow and scape this tank. Just bought seeds for glosso on ebay...yup going to dry start this tank.




Also bought 5.5 gallon tank for species only tank either ADF or Shrimp not sure yet

Now have to look for a stand for 40 g breeder any suggestions?

 

it when will the UK get £1 per gallon deals, its unfair

 

I bought some of those seeds. They sprout very well. Sounds like the tank is going to look amazing.

At petco, they also have the 'brooklyn metal stand' for the 40b

I'm going to build my own stand : Just haven't gotten around to it.

Dry start? Meaning you'll be planting the seeds in soil, no water?

Yup I'm using eco complete as my substrate then I am going add a little water (enough to keep the substrate moist) and add the glosso seed) Probably add some crypts as well and spray mist once a day and cover the top of the aquarium with syran wrap.

Just need to build the stand first which I've been putting off for the longest time.
