ADF siblings moved in together * pic added

I just had to share this.
I have 2 ADF siblings that are about a month apart in age.
Now that the younger one can easily handle a small bits of blood worm and he's big enough not to be eaten, I decided it was time to move them into same tank.

Anyone who owns ADF's knows how they lunge for their food.
If it moves, it must be food, right? lol

I was so worried that the bigger frog would grab the smaller one.
Well, it was the other way around. As soon as the bigger frog swam near the little one, the little one grabbed the bigger one's toe.
Boy do be take off. LOL

I'm keeping a close eye on things and will be sure they both get their fair share of food.

I'll post some pics when I can get them. Wish us luck!

Thanks everyone! Dinner was interesting. The older frog knows to go in his dish, he can handle a whole blood worm. The little one seems kind of lost and he can only handle cut up blood worms. I spot fed him. I'm sure it'll be easier once he gets bigger.

lol you spoil your kids rot! LOL at least he ate :) are they in the 20L? or the 5g?

They're in the Kritter Keeper that the older one morphed in.
They'll need a larger tank soon. I'm thinking about setting up a 10g and putting them with their parents.

    Thanks Ken. :)
LOL Tony, it'll be cool when and if that happens.

Ok, so spot feeding the baby didn't go so well this morning.
No matter how close I put a blood worm to his nose he insisted on swimming over to the dish his brother was feeding in.
Big brother either didn't like it very much or mistook baby for a food, grabbed and shook him a few times. He got a good thrashing a couple of times.
    It scared me!
Baby wasn't wasn't to be convinced either by big brother or me that he should leave the feeding dish. Brave (or dumb) little guy.

I'm going to take the small feeding dish out of the parent tank and put it in with the babies since they don't use it anyway. Maybe it'll help them having their own dish along with supervised feedings.

Anyway here they are again. You can really see the difference in size.
The bigger one isn't even 1/2 the size of his parents yet.
I'll have to work on a family portrait on of these days. lol

Oh, no! I'm glad he's okay. What did you say to big brother when he grabbed him? "No, no, bad frog?"
