Help!!! I have 2 ADF, 1 I’ve had for about 4 months and the other about 2 weeks. I was unaware that I needed to quarantine the new frog before adding her to the tank. She is now showing signs of Chytrid and I’m very afraid that my other one will get it as well. Please help me save my babies!!
I was in the same boat as you a few years ago. I saved my two original frogs by using lamisil baths. Two small tanks or critter carriers are required. I had a heater, sponge filter, and a hide in each one. A 500ml measuring cup was my dipping container so I could mix and dip in the same container. It was a tedious daily procedure plus I had to completely reset with bleach and get their tank cycling while doing it. Resetting the small tank/carrier with bleach and allowing to completely dry before filling back up the next day for dip and transfer. Chytrid Fungus in ADF's and ACF's | Amphibian Forum | 25348
